I got to the gym around 11:15 A.M. today, so it was a bit cooler than Sunday. Still not pleasant.
175 lbs. – 3×5 – 5, 5, 5
Soreness went away pretty quickly, or at least didn’t impact my workout. The weight is easy, breathing in the heat is not. Focused on keeping my lower back extended by keeping my abs tight and not going quite as deep as I had been. (Videos from the last few times I squatted prior to my layoff had me going deeper than necessary.)
145 lbs. – 3×5 – 5, 5, 5
Worked my way up to a weight I felt I could do for three sets of five. Sadly, it was tough.
255 lbs. – 1×5 – 5
Weight was light, legs were still wobbly though. No knee issues, but some straining in my back. Need to video to make sure I’m keeping it set.
